“You better not be sassing me, girl. If I take you to town now and you flirt, men could be getting seriously injured.”

Corona was shocked at his remark. It sounded so possessive, as if he was claiming Nina as more than just a lover. Truth was, they would all would kill any man that laid a hand on her right no—other than one another.

She shook her head and exhaled.

“That won’t be necessary, Atlanta. Just like the first time we went to town and you had things wrong, I don’t flirt.”

Atlanta sat forward in his seat and then curled his finger at her. Corona watched, as did Freeman, who chuckled.

Nina raised one of her eyebrows up at Atlanta.

“Seriously?” she challenged him.
